Mona Rizzardi is an experienced real estate agent working in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Mona was designated as being within the top 1.5% of agents nationwide for sales volume in 2022.  She helps clients from all walks of life, from young professionals and families in the market for their first home to seasoned homeowners looking for a change.

Mona was born in Houston, Texas, and has lived in Los Angeles, Washington D.C., London, Toronto and Michigan, before settling down in Northern California in 2007.

She is familiar with the excitement and the stress of moving. Her empathy helps her personally relate to clients and anticipate their needs, ensuring that shopping for or selling a home is as pleasant (and painless!) as possible.

Mona started working in customer service when she was just 10 years old, eagerly helping her dad at Harry Rosen, a high end men’s retail store in Canada, for extra allowance. She continued working in the customer service industry through College as a member of the management team at Roots Canada, an apparel and home furnishings retailer. There, she was responsible for improving customer service, and making sure that merchandise was in top notch shape. Later, she put herself through law school by helping customers find the perfect Yves Saint Laurent gown and Chanel jacket as an associate at Neiman Marcus in the Midwest.

When it comes to contracts and money, it’s important to work with someone who doesn’t just like the thrill of the chase, but follows through. Formerly an attorney – and Partner – at one of the largest and most respected law firms in the country, Mona distinguishes herself by her knowledge of real estate and legal transactions. She enjoys working with numbers and the art of negotiation. Her legal background is a welcome asset to clients.

Having lived all over the Bay Area for nearly a decade, Mona is familiar with the area and connected with the real estate community. She has access to the latest listings and knows to act fast. She can also recommend the best bakery, kid-friendly park or a romantic restaurant nearby. Hey, it comes with the territory!

During her free time, Mona enjoys exploring the Bay Area food scene, interior design, Bar Method classes and travel. She is fluent in Farsi and has a working knowledge of French. Mona lives in Walnut Creek with her husband, Australian Labradoodle, and two children, who she credits for her creative negotiation skills and supersonic multitasking.
